From 29 May to 2 June 2016, the 48th Conference of the International Circle
of Educational Institutes for Graphic Arts Technology and Management was
hosted by the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK Leipzig), Germany.

The International Circle of Educational Institutes for Graphic Arts Technology and Management (IC) is a free association of about one hundred members from all over the world. It represents educational institutes with a focus on technology and management in the printing and allied industries and serves as a platform for exchange of knowledge and cultural issues.

Leipzig is well known in Europe as a traditional place of trade fairs, printing shops and publishing houses. The Leipzig University of Applied Sciences, which is called “Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig” in German, has earned a well-established academic reputation in the field of Graphic Arts for nearly 100 years.

On behalf of the University Management, the Faculty of Media and the Organising Committee we were delighted to welcome you to the 48th conference of the IC from 29 May to 2 June 2016. It had been our goal to offer an affordable event, with a reasonable registration fee and overnight accommodation from € 59 per night. We hope it was for you an enjoyable conference with valuable presentation sessions and interesting excursions.

Now we expect to see you at the next IC conferences.

Chairman of the Organising Committee
